How Good is Your Water at Home

So at the New York State Fair they had a competition with all of the different towns, villages, and cities about who has the best water. At the New York State Fair they have been doing this for the past 24 years. They let the public try all of the water and the public does the voting on who has the best water. The winner was Albany, NY, and the 2nd place winner was the village of St. Johnsville in Montgomery County.

At home, how do you get the best water? You can try water filters. You can have Faucet Filter, filters that attaches under the sink. There can be a lot of different things in the water and you just have to be cautious. Where I live I have Syracuse, NY water it tastes ok but using a filter to get out the different kinds of particles it taste a lot better.

Blog Income Report for August 2010

Here is the income report for August 2010. I think it has been a good month overall. Google Adsense has gone up alot this month. Paid Postings has gone down and I got one sale from Click Bank. I also got a shocker this month by looking at my PR and it was a 3.

Aweber Stats

At the end of July I had a total of 232 and at the end of this month the total is 250 that is a difference of 18 subscribers. Here is a screenshot of my Aweber account.

Here is the money part of the income report.

Google Adsense – $45.54
Paid Posting Company – $20.00
Click Bank – $22.01

Grand Total – $87.55

The income is down from last month, but I didn’t make as much from the paid posting company. If I have made more this would probably be in hundred dollar like last month. I can’t believe how much Google Adsense is this month. I also made $100+ plus in my Google Account so I was able to transfer $107 I think it was. I just need to do another couple of big months like this month and I could get another $100 transfered.

July’s Grand Total was $104.63 just so you know what it is.

How Do You Relax At Home

How do you relax at home? When you have a hard week at home or at work some people like to smoke a cigar like baccarat cigars or have a nice alcoholic beverage.

When I have a hard time at home or work I don’t really know how to let it go. That is what I need to work on. I don’t need to drag it back home. It is a new week and there are always going to be problems at work. If it is an emergency or a ticket wasn’t done in a timely manner. There are always going to be a problem. There are always going to be tickets. If you don’t get to it today there is always tomorrow.

You also want to take a lot of vacation with your family because you don’t want your job take over your life.

Awesome Laptop Repair Videos

Do you need help to repair your laptop? I have found a website where they have over 10 hours of HD video on Laptop Repair that is a total of over 40+ videos.

If I got the money I would buy this product because I can do the basic stuff on a laptop like changing out the hard drive, batteries, memory, and CD Roms, but when it comes to the motherboard, CPU, and Fans I am at a lost. I would look at the service manual but I am a chicken. I can do that all the time on a tower computer, but it just seems like it is a different world working on laptop. I could be over reacting but these are just my feelings.

Winter Clothing in Syracuse

I know it is still summer but I wanted to talk about winter clothing in Syracuse, NY. Syracuse has a lot of snow and you can’t dispute that. The clothing that I love to wear is nice pants like khakis and a nice warm sweaters on the really cold days.

I also like a very warm jacket that has multiple layers, because this kind of jacket can be a dual use jacket where you can use it during the fall and spring time. In Syracuse we have records for the most snow in the New York region.

New York State Fair and Vacation

So Yes I am on vacation from work for couple of days. I am off Thursday, Friday and Monday. I will be going to the opening day of the New York State and 3 other times. I think it will be a good time. I will be going with my family two times and then probably with friends.

Flip Ultra HD Rechargeable Battery Pack issues

So I noticed when I ever plugged my Flip Ultra HD Camcorder into my computer the battery would start out at red and then it would charge really fast, but after it is done charging then you plug it back in it would do the same thing. It seems like it not charging right.

I took out the rechargeable battery to look at it more closely. Here is what I found out.

This is the top part of the batter pack. It looks normal nothing wrong with it.

Here is the bottom of the battery pack. Do you see anything wrong with it?

I see that the plastic is covering almost all of bottom battery. I don’t think it should be doing that. So I took a knife and cut the plastic to expose the metal on the one side of the battery. I am going to let it charge over night and see what I find out.

I think it kind of sucks being this flip camera is $150+ they should some type of quality control. How is this thing going too charge if plastic is covering up stuff on the battery. When you look at any battery both ends are exposed.

I still think this is a good camcorder for the price but damn have some quality control on the parts. I do have rechargeable battery that I can use also. It is a good camera because you don’t have to rely on rechargeable batteries you can use any AA battery.

Computer Moves On Large Scale The Best Way To Do Them

Here is a list of some things that I have learned through out the years moving users around. I have done this countless times. No Move goes excellent but it can be a good move.

1. Patch all data jacks into the switch before hand so you are not waiting. You want to install the computer equipment and test to make sure it gets onto the network.

2. Make sure the computer and desks are labeled. You can put the users name or you can do a number on the desk and computer.

3. Use a plastic Bag so you can put the power strip, keyboard, mouse, network cable, and mouse pad alltogether. You don’t want a user telling you this not my keyboard and then you have to look all over the place for it. That takes a lot of time trying to find it.

4. Don’t make any changes when you moving do it after when all of the computers are put back into there new location. If a user wants a different monitors, Keyboard, or mouse. You can even have a user say they don’t like the spot where they are and you have to move them.

Flip Ultra HD Camcorder Arrived

The Flip Ultra has arrived today. This thing is very cool. It is going to very cool to be doing some videos. I went to walmart and bought a cheap tripod for it. The Tripod that I got was the Targus TG-42TT 42-Inch 8-Section Travel Tripod. I hope it will be sturdy enough for what I am going to be doing with it.

The other thing that I need to buy is USB 2.0 cable instead of this cheap USB 1.0 cable. I think I will buy it online because the prices are cheaper when you buy them online then they are at the stores. The store prices are so god damn expensive.
