Sarah “Sally” Ellison

December 30, 2005 Sarah (Sally) Ellison, nee Neider, 76, of E. Syracuse, died Friday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Syracuse, she was a telephone operator at Medical Arts Building for 16 years, retiring in 1976. She was past president for 45 years for the Arthur Butler Post Ladies Auxiliary American Legion #359. Survivors: three sons, Robert (Sharon) and Eric (Racina) Ellison, both of E. Syracuse, and Thomas (Betty) Ellison of Pompey; three stepsons, Charles and Timothy Higgins, both of Fla., and Michael Higgins of Morrisville; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Forani & Cline Funeral Home, 206 Kinne St., E. Syracuse. There are no calling hours.
