On call Friday and Saturday
Well I didn’t get called in or I didn’t get a call on Friday. At around 4:41 AM on Saturday, I got a call from Operations saying that they had a problem with one of the software applications. The vendor wanted the name of the server. I gave them the server name. I had to speak with the vendor because they couldn’t get onto the server or they wanted to speak with someone with more technical knowledge. I couldn’t understand the vendor because of the accent. I don’t know enough about the different services on this server so I wasn’t much help. I called my supervisor to ask him if there were any other servers. I ended up rebooting the server, and the operations did something on their end and everything worked in the end.
My first experience and I ended up calling my supervisor. How bad is that?

Elliptical Machines at the gym
At the gym that my friend goes to they have a bunch of elliptical machines that you can use. I like to use the Elliptical Machines at the gym. At the gym that he goes he has the black card which lets you bring a friend with you. I think this is the best option because who really wants to work out alone I know I don’t. The person that bought the black card can tan for free, and use their message chairs for free. The friend can use the tanning boths for 6 dollars.

On Call experience so far
It has been a very quiet week to be on call. I want fishing on Monday and didn’t get called in for anything. I went to the B2 last night until 9:30 PM. I didn’t get called in for anything. They say I will get called in more on the weekends then on the weekday. I wonder why that is.

Used cisco gear
You can find a lot of used cisco gear on ebay. They are pretty cheap. I did a search on ebay for the term cisco and there was 7,394 items found. The only bad part of buying used cisco gear on ebay is you can’t update them because you don’t have a support contract with cisco. If I had more money I would buy a cisco router, couple of switches.

You can find anything on google or other search engines. I did a search for Ford grills. This website was in the first ranking. You don’t need to do anymore searching for the term ford grills because I found it. The website is called wooddashexperts.com. This website has the largest selection of car & truck grill inventory on the market. On the website all you have to do it select the make of your car or truck and then select the year. Then you are brought to the grill or part that you want to buy. It is very simple process. They do have a physical address for you, an email address, and a phone number to contact them. I think all business that are on the internet should supply that information.
