Funny T shirts
Everyone likes a funny t shirts once in awhile. I have a website for you that you can buy a lot of different t shirts that are funny. The website is called deathrowtshirts.com. Day after the upgrade
We did the upgrade on all of the computers that needed to be upgraded. This went very smooth no real problems. On Monday the users started to put tickets in like I can’t get to my email because it says I need to configure email. The user was logged in to the wrong account. There were couple of missed computers which was fixed. I still have to do one computer that was on my list. Our general account got locked out because we used that to test the application when we were done installing. The users didn’t know to look that that wasn’t their username. I think it went smoothly with no real problems.
The weekend of 6-13-08 – 6-15-08
This weekend was pretty busy. On Friday I went to Hanover square to hear a band play and drink some beer. I didn’t stay out to late because I had to be at work on Saturday to do an upgrade on of the scheduling software that different departments use. I had to do around 12 computers. The install took around half an hour to do per computer. One computer I couldn’t find, and another computer was off. One computer I was able to remote in, but after I restarted the computer I couldn’t remote back into it or ping it. I had to go to the person’s desk and do the install that way. I was able to login and browse out to the internet, but I couldn’t remote to the computer to do the install. I got that all done and I left around 5:30 PM. I then went to Steve and Jean’s house for a birthday party for their daughter Stacy and Tom. They had different kind of foods, and a lot of beer. It was a good time. I stayed around 11:00 PM.

Find the best buy for the Flip Ultra
I want to find the best buy to get a Flip Ultra. I don’t really need it but it is a really nice video camera. It has HD quality video. The videos that I have see on the internet that were made with the Flip is really nice quality. It is small enough that you can put it in your pocket. One place that will always have it is Best Buy. I have also seen them at Walmart. When I save more money up I will probably get one. If someone wants to send me one I will review the flip video camera.

Hot Weather and Thunderstorms
On days when it is hot and there is no wind you dream for wind to cool you off. In the background you hear wind chimes flapping around. You think to your self is that wind I hear that is coming. You come out of your daze to realize it was kids playing with the Wind Chimes.
Yesterday in Syracuse there was very fast moving thunderstorm that rolled through. I am on the 10th floor at Crouse Hospital and it was very cool to see the storm roll through like it did. One side of the building had the thunderstorm and the other it was a sunny day. In a Flash the one side that had the thunderstorm it was over and the other side the storm was beginning.
The weather in syracuse lately
The weather has been very hot lately in Syracuse, NY. This weekend was in the 90′s and this is going to be a hot one. Here is the 5 day forecast for the weather from WSTM.com. On Saturday, I put my air conditioner in the window of my bedroom because it was hot in the house. The house has been a good 80 something.
Computer Upgrades
I am thinking of upgrading my ram in my computer. I have 896 MB of ram right now. If you look on newegg.com memory is pretty cheap. You can buy 512 MB for 16 dollars. I can buy 1 GB for 21.99. You can’t go wrong to buy more memory for your computer. I have a AMD athlon 2.10 GHZ with windows XP on the computer. I had this for a couple of years. I don’t play any games so I don’t really need a power horse anything like that. I am really thinking of getting another computer for my main machine. I don’t know.

This is the regular bunch that we get when we go out to the The Beginning II. It is a night of drinking and having a good time with friends. What else do you need?
The week
I had to configure and install 5 computers on wheels or Cows in a department. I like to call them Johnny 5′s because how they look. You have your monitor, keyboard and mouse, and a wireless antenna sticking on the top of the cart. I wish I took a picture before I sent them to the department.
My CIO came up with an idea to get them off the bottom so the user could push the on / off button. Then I came up with the idea to use the foam that came with the computer so I didn’t have to go engineering to get wood. The computers came with a small wireless antenna so I came up with the idea to use wireless antennas that have a long wire to connect to the computer. I put them on top of the cart.
I have to send one back to Seneca Data because it won’t pick up any wireless signals. I have tried to upgrade the driver, and check inside of the computer to make sure all the connections are on the wireless card. I also did a angel recovery to bring it back to factory default and still no luck. These computers are good when they work, but sometimes you get couple of bad apples in the bunch.
I have to use this word for my paid posting so I am going to get it over with and the word is progesterone.
On Wednesday I went to the B2 and hung out there until 10:00 PM which is always fun. My on call will start on 23rd. I will write if anything happens.
On Saturday the 14th I was asked to come in to help upgrade 90 computers to new scheduling software that different departments use. We could have chosen over time or time off. I picked time off.
Pictures of Monster Jam
My father and nephew went go see Monster Jam at the New York State Fair Grand Stand. They had competition against the different monster trucks. They also had other smaller races with quads and stuff like that. Here are the pictures. My dad said there was a lot of people that went to this.
