Living Update

I put my security deposit down on my apartment. I just have to sign the lease and put my first month rent down on Friday. It is on the third floor with 2 br. The apartment pays for heat and hot water. It is centrally located where my family and friends live. I can walk to my apartment from my friend’s house. I will probably move November 1st. This is Just a update on my living situation.

Work Ramblings

Yesterday I went to Commonwealth to do bunch of tickets. I had to setup a fax machine / printer, install two batteries in temp probes, and setup 7 outlook profiles. I also went to Widewaters to look at a fax machine that had a black line going down the side. It was a 8 year old fax machine and not worth fixing. We had a fax machine that came back so I am using it to replace the other fax machine.

Coby 1.5-Inch Digital Photo Keychain

I was looking at Amazon today and saw this cool little electronic device. It is called a Coby 1.5-Inch Digital Photo Keychain. It is a digital picture frame that holds all of your pictures. It is not a bad price at $9.99. I haven’t seen one of these so I thought it was pretty cool to get one. Guess what I did buy one.

Canon Camera

How many people use a Canon camera to do their photo taking? I use a Kodak Easy Share digital camera. It takes good pictures and video, but the price was right when I got it. One of these days I want to get a SLR camera. People say that Canon’s are really good for their SLR cameras. What does everyone else think? I want to learn photography instead of just point and shoot.

Spent the Day in the Adirondacks

The whole Ellison gang went up to the Adirondacks to spread my grandfathers ashes. He wanted us to spread his ashes in the Adirondacks, my uncle’s place and the thousands islands. It was a pretty nice day to travel up to the Adirondacks. The trees have already changed colors. We ended the day at the Buffalo Head Restaurant. They are famous for their steaks and was it good. Here are few photos that I took.

The kids wanted to fish but where we went to there was a wedding going so we didn’t go fishing. I also made couple of videos that I will post. So this will be probably a two post deal. I ended up with 40 something pictures and 3 videos.

It’s Friday

It is Friday. What is everyone doing this weekend? I am heading out to the Adirondacks on Saturday with my parents to spread my grandfather’s ashes. There were two places that he liked it was the Adirondacks and my uncles place. So We are going to spread them in those two locations. We are going to make a day of it.

I hope the women calls to say that the other tenants updated their lease and signed it. I just want to sign it and move in on November 1st. I have a lot of stuff before hand to do. What was everyone experience when they first moved into their first apartment or home?

Changed my feedburner to google accounts

I waited for a long time for them to do this. Nothing has changed it just redirects to Google’s services instead of feedburner. I am trying to setup Adsense for Feeds but it doesn’t look like it is working so I have to look into that some more.

On Call Day Seven

I didn’t get called in for anything on Sunday. I went to my friends house and helped him with his bar. He finished putting 2nd coat of gloss on it. We brought up to his 2nd floor bedroom without any problems. Looks really nice and he his going to enjoy it. How was everyone’s weekend?

Living on my own

I went and looked at an apartment yesterday with my mom. The one that I am trying to get is on the third floor with hardwood floors and carpet. It has 2 bedrooms, nice size living room, and kitchen. The complex is close to my parents and my friends house. The highway is close I can go Carrier Circle and down Thompson Road or go Middler ave to the highway. Here is a picture of the front of the building.
