How many people have MP3 players?

I have talked about Apple ipods before. I just want to know how many people have MP3 players. Any size it doesn’t matter. I have an old mp3 player that only holds 128 MB. That was cool back in the day. I love the head phones that came with that thing. I still use them to this day. I really would like to get an Apple Ipod but not the new ipod shuffle because that just sucks.

How to watch SU’s NCAA game

I learned this from my local paper. If you want to watch the SU’s game today at 12:15 PM then you want to click on mmod.ncaa.com. You will have two choices of what player you want to watch. You can watch the non HD quality or HD quality. You just need to take lunch at 12:00 so you can watch part of the game. I will be taking lunch at that time. Also just don’t let your boss find out that you are watching this and don’t tell them that I gave you the web address for the game. Let’s Go SU!!!

Cisco CCNA Exam

If you want to learn Cisco switches and routers then you should be going to ebay and finding used cisco gear. They are pretty cheap, but you want to find gear that are releavent to the latest exams. You can also buy a mini rack that goes on to your desk which will help conserv space. You can buy whole kits also. The Cisco exam is very hard and you need a lot of time with the switches and routers to get really good at the hands on portion of the exam. I still need to study and take it. One day I will take the exam. Here are two really good books to buy if you are going to study for the exam. They are CCENT/CCNA ICND1 Official Exam Certification Guide, 2nd Edition and CCNA ICND2 Official Exam Certification Guide (CCNA Exams 640-816 and 640-802) (2nd Edition).

You should always try to do some auto insurance comparison shopping when you are looking for auto insurance. That is what we did when we were looking for some car insurance. We looked at Geico, progressive, and all state. We then compared the three and my dad picked progressive as our auto insurance. There are a lot of scams out there, but just pick a auto insurance company that is reputable.

How to find the jobs in this economy

The best place to find jobs are online. You have plces like monster, career builder, and craigslist. Your local paper might have a job section. I know my local paper the Post Standard has a online job section. Another good way to find a job is through contacts. I wouldn’t have my job if it wasn’t for my supervisor that emailed me saying they had a job opening up.

You also need find a industry that is striving in this economy. On CNN they said green jobs, and home renovations are hot ones to get into. With your resume you need to standout from the rest of the crowd. Some people have built their own website to showcase their resume. Their was a women who built her husband a website to find him a job because he got layed off from his previous job.

Start your own business or earn some extra money on the side

During this tough economy you want to bring in money that will help supplement your income from your day job. The internet is the best place to do that, but you can also do jobs during the weekend when you are not working. If you are good at something then you should take that and run with it. If you are good at fixing computers then start a weekend repair business. If you can get enough clients then you can live with out worrying that you can’t pay for your morgage or stuff like that. I am just saying take what you are passionate about and run with it.

I have done computer work on the side and it has been great to get extra money so that I can go out with my friends or buy somethong that I want. I read at story in my local paper about people starting up their own business during this rough economy. One guy is starting a popper scopper business. Another lady is starting a design business where she paints her own pictures and then try to sell them to business or people trying to furnish their homes. There are also tones of different ways to make money online. You just need to find the way. Hopefully I sparked something that will help you earn extra money.

What music player do you like?

Here is a question for everyone. What music player do you like to use on your computer? For me it is winamp on Windows. If I am on my Mac it is Itunes. I had winamp when it first came out before they were bought by AOL. That is a long time. I also use other media players. I use VLC it is free and open source. It also plays DVD videos. You can’t go wrong with that. I was listening to some music with Winamp and the questions came to me.

Apple’s New 4GB Ipod Shuffle

I was reading a CNN post about Apple’s new Ipod 4 GB shuffle that they already came out with. I think it is a very stupid mp3 player. You have to have head phones that are specific to that ipod model because there are no controls on the Ipod itself just on the head phones. The controls are located on the right earbud cord. They should have just left it on the ipod. I don’t want to be locked into buying apple’s head phones.

Here is what the new Ipod Shuffle looks like. It is very small and nice visually. You have more hard drive space then the old generations.

This is what the old Ipod shuffle looks like. I like this because the controls are on the Ipod itself. You don’t have to remember click twice for this and that. You have your controls on the unit. That is what I like.

Anyone can blog

Anyone can blog if they really want to. There are no secret to this. You can signup with an account and get your self a free blog account or you can buy a web hosting account, a domain, and install Word Press. You can go these two different approaches to make a blog. You just need to write what you want to write about and don’t follow anyone.

You then want to comment on other blogs so people will start to follow your link because they like what you wrote in the comment that you wrote. You can also post your posts to a lot of different social book marking sites. You can also submit your RSS feed to directories. You can also submit your blog URL to website directories.

Pay your bills on time

You want to pay your bills on time and don’t be late with them. This will show you in a good light with your creditors. They will be more willing to work with you if there was ever a problem. I use a excel spreadsheet that has all my bills and when they are due so I will never be late for any bills. This is my record keeping. How does everyone else keep up with their bills? Instead of an excel spreadsheet you can write your bills in a journal like notebook and use for record keeping. I also put them in my calendar when they are due.
