This is some general information on the Swine Flu and a You Tube video on the symptoms of the swine flu.

What is the swine flu

The Swine Flu or Swine influenza is hitting Mexico and the United States like a storm. Swine Flu is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A influenza viruses that causes regular outbreaks in pigs. Swine Flu is contagious and is spreading from human to human. Flu viruses are spread mainly from person to person through coughing or sneezing of people with influenza.

The symptoms of the swine flu

The symptoms of swine flu in people are similar to the symptoms of regular human flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Some people have reported diarrhea and vomiting associated with swine flu.

What are some precautions of getting the Swine Flu

You should wash your hands. To stay in good health you should get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food. Try not touch surfaces that may be contaminated with the flu virus. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

Updated the blog

Well today I updated my blog. I added two 125 x 125 ad spots on the right hand side below the search box. I also am using Google Ad Manager for the 125 x 125 banners. That was kind of a bit to learn. I also added more information and different prices for the different ad spots that are on my blog. What does everyone think about it the Advertise page, and the new banners? The two banners that you see for my 125 x 125 banners are a advertise here banner that goes to my advertise page, and Host Gator banner.

Google integrating your AdSense account with Google Analytics

I just got the option to integrate my Google Adsense inside of my analytics account. It looks like they are doing this for everyone now instead of few people. I went through the steps so now I need to update some javascript so that they can track the Google Adsense. We will see how it goes. It is more data which is always good. Has anyone else integrated their Google Adsense to their Google Analytics? Please let me know how you like it.

Update - The Google Adsense blog had a post Analytics integration for all. When I wrote this post yesterday guess I was right that they are giving this option to all Adsense users.

The Nice Weekend

We had a really nice weekend this week. It was sunny and the weather was in the 70 to 80. I ended up staying at my friend’s parent’s house all day on Saturday because they were having a Garage Sale. My friend’s mother made $35. There was no advance warning on the Garage sale so that pretty cool. Here are some pictures of it.

They had the garage sale inside of the Garage and outside. We drank Margaritas and then at the end of the day we had a cookout so it was fun day.

Comment on other bloggers blog

One good technique to get readers and traffic to your blog is commenting on other blogs. If readers like what you have to say then they are going to follow your link that you posted.

You should post relevant comments don’t post crap things. If you have a blog and people are commenting on it then you what I mean by crap posts. I will comment on blogs with the posts that I like if a blogger has a post that I don’t really like I won’t post it because I can’t add value to that post.

You should also setup a Gravatar picture so people will see who you look like. It is so that you stand out from the crowd. In the internet life you need to stand out from the crowd. You will see pictures of themselves or their logo from their website. You will some times see picture of a hot women as the Gravatar Picture. To sign up to Gravatar then Click Here

When you post on blogs multiple times the people that read the blog and the blog author is going to recognize who you are. This will help you create online friends. I think this will help with smaller blogs that don’t have cult following like the big name blogs. The big name blogs gets hundreds and hundreds of comments and they are not going to see who you are.

I use Google Analytics to see what my stats look like on this blog. You will see where the visitors are coming from. This has helped to bring in visitors to my blog so I know it works.

Web links in Word not converting to PDF

I was having problems converting my web links that were working in Word to PDF. They just wouln’t show in the PDF when I converted over to PDF. What I ended up doing was installing Open Office. Open Office is free open source office suite just like Microsoft Office. You have the same tools. I opened my Word docuemnt into Open Office and then export it to PDF and my links are working now. I did numerous searches on Google and I couldn’t find a solution until someone said to try Open Office. It worked without any issues. I can now create my E-books without any issues now.

How long have you had a Google Adsense account?

I was looking through my payment history in Google Adsense, and I made my first $.54 in 2005. That is a very long time to make money. I just hit the milestone of making my first $100.00 in Google Adsense this month. It has been a long slow adventure.

Here are somethings that I have learned through the process.

You need a lot of traffic that is going to your website. The best people that will click on your Google Adsense is Search Engine traffic because they are not banner savy and they will click on the banner.

The posts that are getting a lot of traffic you want to put a Google Adsense banner on that post. You might want to put two of them. You want put one at the top and one at the bottom. You only can have three Google Adsense banners on any page. You should also try what size will work for you. On the posts that get a lot of traffic I will put a square banner at the top and 468 banner at the bottom.

If you have a lot of RSS Feed readers then you can add Google AdSense for Feeds. Your feedburner address will change. It willl be http://feedproxy.google.com/YourFeedname. This will give you more money. I do this on any feed that I have. It has given me couple of clicks.

I have made money through AdSense for Content, AdSense for Search, and AdSense for Feeds. There are a lot of possibilites to make money with Google Adsense you just need to find what works for you. I am still trying different things. Google Adsense is a great way to monetize a blog that is starting out. People might differ on this but this is what I think.

Buy Perfume for a present

Perfume is the most simple gift that you can get some for their birthday. You see what they like and you buy it online. They will not know that you are getting them the present. You can also get perfume gift sets which will give you variety of perfumes.

You can also get your male counterpart a birthday gift also. You can get him Cologne or aftershave. If you really want you can go to Walmart and get it. Perfume and Cologne is a good present because you make the person smell good and it is inexpensive. It is a win all around.

Sometimes when you are around a large crowd you can smell that one person that needs some perfume or Cologne. If you have a sprey bottle this a perfect solution for those people that smell bad. I don’t really advocate this solution, but you got to do what you got to do.
