PC Angel Recovery Sucks Sometimes
We get computers that have Angel Recovery on them. We had some of the hard drives that will not extract to the OS drive when we want to do a destructive format. The error message that we get is it can’t extract the files. The two reasons why it won’t extract the recovery image is because the drive is bad. Which there might have bad sectors or the recovery image could be bad. What we could also do is create our own image with ghost but this will wipe out the 2 partitions that are on the hard drive. We need to create our own ghost image so we can have a fast turn around for repairs. We have to have our couriers pick up the hardware at the computer manufacturer for the RMA request. It might take a long time for them to pick up the items.
I just wanted to say sometimes it sucks. Other times it is a great because when it works you can reformat the computer with in minutes but just bringing the build to the same exact way the user had it takes the most time.

Make your links follow links
I have a plugin that I am using to make your links a follow links instead of a nofollow link. This plugin is called Dofollow. The website to download this plugin is at kimmo.suominen.com/sw/dofollow. You can also set a comment age limit so that older comments you can ad the nofollow. It is pretty easy to use. So what are waiting for just download the plugin. If you don’t like the plugin you can always deactivate it and delete it.
How to find Twitter Followers
So you created your own Twitter username and you have no followers. What you want to do is search for other people that have the same hobbies that you have. My hobbies are blogging, technology, camping, and fishing. What are your hobbies?
Go to Search.twitter.com and type the word of your hobby to find like minded twitter people. Once you pick a follower you should also investigate their followers and who they are following. I will sometimes do this.
If you visit a blog they also might have a twitter account. You can then follow this blogger that you like. I follow some of biggest names in the blogging world. Some people will follow you if you follow them. I think everyone should do this.
You should also interact with the people that are on Twitter. This will make people want to follow you more. This is what I have to do. I have to interact with more people on Twitter.

My Twitter Followers
It seems like I have been getting a lot more twitter followers. It is just weird that a lot more people want to follow me. How has Twitter helped you in your online business? I saw a post saying that CNN bought a Twitter account for 1 million dollars because that person had over 950,000 twitter followers. That took a lot of work. Are you getting bored from Twitter because it is going main stream? I will post once in awhile but I just syndicate my blog posts on my Twitter page. How are you using Twitter?

Easter weekend
Easter was OK. I ended up getting sick on Saturday and going all the way to this week. I ended up calling in sick from work on Monday and went to Prompt Care. They said I have just a 3-4 day virus. I just needed to take over the counter meds and that was all. I had the flu shot from work so this wasn’t the flu. I am getting reestablished with a doctor next week. This is a long time coming. I still need to go to the dentist and go see the eye doctor to get new glasses.

Do you have Downadup (aka Conficker or Kido)
Then I came across this removal tool from BitDefender. It will search for the Downadup (or Conficker). It will remove the worm on your computer. BitDefender is the first to have a tool like this. I haven’t tried it, but if you think you are infected then this is a tool for you. I would also install the microsoft patch that they came out with to stop the vulnerability. Conficker wakes up finally
On the news they are saying the Conficker is waking up and downloading the payload via P2P. The worm is also checking if the computer has active internet connection by connecting to some popular sites like myspace, cnn, ebay, and aol. The security people are saying the worm is going to shutdown on may 3rd. The worm spreads via a hole in Windows that Microsoft patched in October, as well as through removable storage devices and network shares with weak passwords. The worm disables security software and blocks access to security Web sites.
Everyone needs to run windows update and update your Anti Virus programs.
