One Day I Would Like To Go Back For A Masters

I have my associates and bachelors degree from Morrisville State College. I have a good job working at the hospital, but one of these days I would like to get a masters degree. More and more people are getting their Masters degree online or any form of degree actually.

What I like about online schools is that you don’t have to visit the campus and you do the readings and homework on your own time. If you have a life that is busy then at night when everything is has settled down then you can work on your homework and readings.

When looking for an online university you want them to be a reputable university and it is not one of the spam emails that is saying in 1 week you can get your deploma. I would look at reviews to see what other people are saying about the online program. Has anyone done a online degree before? How did it go for you?

Observations About College And Finding A Job

In college I never really could do the software development stuff I always sucked at it. I was more into the hardware side of things. I was geek that had over 10+ computers in a domain at my house but with these computers I learned a lot by setting them up. I am also glade my school had MSDNA so I could get software from Microsoft to try. Also if I didn’t do this I wouldn’t have stand out from the rest of the crowd and they thought of me when they had a position open in the department at my current work that I am at now.

When you are in college it is good to get an internship. At my college where I went to it was required to graduate. I think this helped a lot. I think finding a job also helps if you know people and you have a good repor with. You don’t want to burn your bridges. Did you do an internship for college? How did it go?

Do you have privacy policy?

If you have Google Adsense you are required to have a privacy policy on your blog / website. A privacy policy is a legal document that disclose how a party retains, processes, discloses, and purges customer’s data. Do you have a privacy policy? If you don’t have one Google can shut you down.

If you don’t want to write one here is a plugin for a Privacy Policy for your Word Press blog. You can download the plugin at www.synclastic.com/plugins/privacy-policy/. I haven’t tried it but it looks like it works well to create a privacy policy for Google Adsense.

Here is my Privacy Policy that I use on my blog you can find that at www.cnyfindit.com/privacy_policy.html. I found it on some site before and I thought it worked out nicely for it. You can use my privacy policy as an sample privacy policy for your blog or website.

TV Shows and The Internet

I was looking at the Google Trends this morning guess what I saw all today’s hottest trends were TV shows looking for the episode that was just aired last night. If TV studios were smart they would put the latest episode on their own website the next day so people can catch up. I know you find them on the network website or on Hulu.com but you won’t see them on until the next episode is airing, and I think this is the wrong logic. What does everyone else think about this?

Wouldn’t you want to check out the previous week’s episode if you missed it when you know the new one is airing say tonight? I know I would. I was trying to find episode 2 of Sons of Anarchy but couldn’t find it on Hulu.com because the new episode was on that night and I wanted get caught up but couldn’t find it online. I didn’t want to sit there and go onto a P2P website to wait to download the episode.

Insurance Quotes Website

Here is another insurance quotes website. The website is www.insurancequotesus.com. It looks like all of the other affiliate website. This website might help you gauge the prices that you can get. I would still be calling your local insurance companies to get their prices. If this was an affiliate website would they really put their business address and phone number. Maybe it is a legit website. I am not sure it might be a useful website. I would still give it a try and see what kind of quotes you can get.

Getting a Cold and On Call

The season is changing and it is the time of year where you are going to get sick. I work in a small office with 4 other people in it. One person was sick last week so guess I got it. I am just sneezing and coughing. The hospital is getting ready to give everyone flu and H1N1 Vacinations and they are mandatory this year. If you don’t get it then you can not work with out it. So I went to the store bought these things today. At least I will have the cough drops for work.

For one of them I am already at page 3 in Google for the keyword so that is pretty good. Time will tell how they do. It is not a quick get rich thing nothing is in this world. If people say that then they are not telling the truth to you. I like how HubPages integrates all of the different make money programs into your account. You are not sharing anything with HubPages because it goes through all of your ID for the different networks.
