Pictures of a Problem Computer

Here are some pictures of a computer that had some problems at work. It has already been fixed and brought back to the floor. Can you spot the problem?. I just wanted to see if you can see the problem.

The computer was shutting down and there was an error message of 7F in the event viewer when I logged on. If i can boot and login into the computer long enough I will do a check of the event viewer to see if I can find an error code, and I will also try to see if it created a mini dump.

I will do research on the error code, also do research of what is inside the minidump. The minidump can reference a driver etc. you also want to do a visual check on the motherboard to see if there are any problems that jump at you. What I ended up doing was replacing the motherboard with the same kind motherboard. It wasn’t that hard.

When I first looked at the computer they were in the middle of doing a surgery. I did my first checks in the event viewer and minidumps, and I saw the error code 7F. From that point I knew that I had to bring the computer upstairs but I just wanted to get the computer and bring it back to the shop. I kept my hands on the computer at all times because I didn’t want to touch anything blue or knock into anything. I guess that is the life of a health care IT support person.

New Battery Back Cover for the Motorola Droid

When I put the new cover on it is very snug and seems like it won’t come off. I also bought a new phone case for it and hopefully with everything it won’t come off anymore.

Best Motorola Droid Flash Light App

Here is a video that I did to show you an awesome application that I downloaded that will turn your Motorola Droid into a flash light. There are two different kinds of flash light applications that you can download. One will use the display as the flash light and the other app will use the camera flash as the flash light. They both work fine but I like the camera flash as the flash light. Please watch the video and let me know what you think.

Christmas 2009 with the Family

Here are some pictures that my mom took of Christmas. My niece and nephew liked what they got. My niece got a doll that acts real and a diaper bag with baby things in it. My newphew got a remote controlled boat, metal detector, cars. They got other things but it is just too much to detail here. Then Santa brought even more things at my Sisters place. They came out like bandits this year for Christmas. What did your kids get from Santa?

Make your blog mobile phone accessible

In today’s world a lot of users have mobile devices. Just recently I installed a WordPress plugin that converted my blog so that mobile phones could access it. I think this is a very good plugin for being free. I saw this on Problogger.net when he announced that his blog is mobile accessible.

The plugin that I use is called WPTouch. It looks like Iphone theme but it works on all of mobile devices. When I went to my website with my Motorola Droid without WPTouch it would error out because of my Aweber popup sign up box. It also wouldn’t work when I was using an Ipod Touch visiting my website.

If you want to be accessible to more people then I think this is a must thing for any blog. With WPTouch you can put in your Google publisher ID so you can show AdSense for Mobile Content. With mobile browsers this can open up another way for people to click on your banners on your site. With installing WPTouch I had $.21 ad click. I think it can be a great thing money wise. I got pair of pants for work from my mom and dad. From my best friends family I got a box of Hersheys kisses, and a scratch off that I won $20. My best friend and his fiance gave me a leathermen type tool.
