Went and saw Legion at the movies

Legion was good. There were some good action scenes in the movie. It looks like there is going to be another Legion because of the ending. Michael the angel is trying to save Charlie unborn baby because the angels and God want the baby dead because the baby will help save man kind. Michael is the one originally sent to kill the baby but he loves humans so he couldn’t follow the order so God sent Gabriel to do the dirty dead. There is the movie in a couple of sentences.

How to put ringtones on your Motorola Droid

Everyone wants to add ringtones to their phone when they already have the song. Here is a list that I created on adding ringtones to your phone. I have tried these steps and they do work. You will just need to find a program that you can splice the song and then save it to MP3. I tried this on a MAC and it worked.

1. You need to mount your phone to the computer.
2. Create a folder on the phone called ringtones
3. Find a program that you can make selections the song. Then save it as a MP3 file format.
4. Copy the newly created ringtone to the ringtone folder that you created in step 2.
5. Eject the phone from the computer and then dismount it.
6. Go to settings sounds and display. Then into phone ringtone.
7. Pick your ringtone that you created

This is a down and dirty list on how to add ringtones to your Motorola Droid. I created a ringtone for Korn Freak on a leash. Here is a photo of me picking that ringtone for my phone. It works but I had to do it couple of times to get the hang of it.

Dentist Office Visit

I really need to go to the dentist. I haven’t been to one in a long time. I just my regular chack up and to see if I have cavaties. If I was in Plano Texas I would visit david wilhite at their Plano dentist office but really I live in Syracuse, NY so I can’t go there.

There are a lot of dentists. How can I pick the best one? I would look at their accrediation, number of years of doing dentistry. I would also search trade organization to see what the best dentist is in my area. You also might want to get your friends recommendations. It really comes down you like being there. What do you like in a great Dentist?

New Ipad Tablet

I was watching the keynote for Apple for their new device that is going to revolutionize the world. I don’t think it is going to do that. It is a big ipod touch. It has different screens but really it is a big ipod touch. What is your take on it? Don’t get me wrong it looks like a nice device but it is a Ipod touch really.

The device looks really small and thin. It only weighs 1 1/2 pounds. It has 9.7 inch IPS display, and a full capacitive multi touch device. It has a 1 Ghz Apple A4 Chip and Jobs said it screams. It has the latest wireless and blue tooth. It has 10 hours of battery life and a month of stand by battery life. That is pretty good battery life on the device. It is a very green device.

All applications the apple store will work with the new device so you don’t have to download other specific applications. From the video the graphics is pretty sweet.

They are also going to have a big book store where you can buy books from the top publishing companies and top authors. It is very easy to flip through pages. You can change the font, and the text size of the ebook. It is cool how all of your books that you download goes on to a book shelf.

It is a mobile device. In the keynote Jobs said they are the biggest mobile device company and their revenue is in the billions of dollars.

What a burnt Power Supply looks like

The ticket came in that the user heard a pop and a burnt smell coming from the computer. This wasn’t my ticket but it one of the guys in my department.

Inside of the power supply you could see the transistor that blew, and also on the computer case you could see where it burned. You don’t see a lot of them. The computer was dusty so it is probably the likely cause of it burning the power supply. The tech put in a new power supply and cleaned out the computer and it is working fine. The motherboard and other components are working fine so I am glade of that.

Syracuse Georgetown Game

Syracuse had a really good game against Georgetown yesterday. The score was 73-56. At the beginning Georgetown had a big lead but Syracuse brought everything together. The defense did a really good job. It looked like most of the game the crowd was on their feet. Syracuse is now 20-1 for the season and 7-1 in the Big East.

Boeheim really like his offense and defense today because he said. “And I think offensively after the first couple possessions, it was as good as we can play. It was really a great defensive effort after that first couple minutes of the game. As good as we can play,’’

I just want to say that they did an excellent job and lets keep going.

Another Free Photo Editing Software

Here is another free photo editing software that has been around for a long time. The software is called Irfanview. It is a very powerful and light weight at the same time. You can do a lot with it just like you can do with paint.net. If you are in a hurry and need to resize a picture then this is one of programs that you should download. If a user needs a photo editing software and they don’t install anything extra then this is for them.

Awesome Free Photo Editing Software

Here is a free photo editing software where you can do edit a picture and it comes with a lot of tools. The program is called Paint.NET which is free to download. The only requirement that you need is to install Microsoft’s .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.

You can download the program by Clicking Here.

I use this program to make my income screen shots. I will press alt + print screen to get the active window and then I will make it the right image size for the blog and then save it as a jpeg. It is that simple.

Are you alergic to things around you

I am alergic to dust and when I get around dust I will start sneezing. If you are alergic to night time allergies then you might want to try allergy mattress covers. They will help to preventing allergic reactions cause by dust mites and their allergens.

It kind of sucks when I am working on a computer covered in dust. I will use a vacuum to clean the big clumps of dust and then take the computer outside and spray with a can of air.

Here is what you need for Syracuse Winters

In Syracuse NY we have records for the snow falls. Do you know what we need for those winters? You guess it I need to go buy a electric blanket. I use to have one as a child because my room would get really cold in the winter because there was no installation in the walls or attic because who put the installation sucked at it.

This winter has been acting really funny because we haven’t got a lot of snow. It has been better days then bad, but it has been cold. The winter weather for next year is going to be probably bad or the summer time it is going to be hot. The weather is funny beast.
