I think I need a New TV

My TV still works but it is old. It really isn’t my TV it is my sisters. She got the tv when my grandmother died. I would like to watch some TV shows in HD. I don’t know if I want to use tv mounts to put it on the wall or just use a tv stand. I live in an apartment so I don’t think they will allow me to put it on the wall. When I buy a house I will probably put it on the wall because it saves so much room in the living room. I have some friends that have their 40″ big screen tv on the wall and it is awesome.

I spend most of my time watching tv in my bedroom because the tv remote will shutdown the cable box and the tv with out even touching the power button. I programmed the remote over and over again but it still does the same thing. I am just too lazy to go over to Time Warner and have them give me a new one.

I still need to look at my finances and see if I can afford a new tv. If not I will wait when I get my taxes back next year because I deserve to get something for myself.

Where do you buy your electronics?

Do you go to best buy and look and browse for hours at the different things at the store? I don’t really buy that much at Best Buy but I like to browse to see the prices on the current electronics.

When I do buy computer components like memory, hard drives, motherboards I go to Newegg. I think prices are a lot cheaper online then at the brick and mortrar stores. If I need something quickly and it is not expensive then I will buy something at Best Buy, Staples, or Walmart. If I was going to buy a tv I don’t think I would buy it online. Where do you like to buy your electronics?

Do Diets Work?

Are there really diets that work? What do you need to loose the weight and maintain it? I heard one person at work talk how she is on a medical diet where you only have 800 calorie intake and they provide all of the food for you. The cost of it is around $1600 for a 6 week program I think the person said. Does that work? She said after when she is done with the program she is going to eat healthier. It really doesn’t give the control that you need. You are going to end up buying their products so you can maintain the weight.

I think you need to learn to eat right, and get exercise into your daily life. This is what I need to start doing. I need eat right and exercise. You need limit yourself. You just need to eat to eat and not eat to make you feel better.

It Has Been Hot Lately

These past couple of days has been really hot. The temps have been in the upper 80′s. I have been sweating so much that I am getting sweat pimples on my head. Sometimes you need acne treatments for it no I am just joking about that statement. You can feel little bumps but it is not bad. The weather is suppose to get cooler on the weekends. If this is the indication of the weather for the summer then we are going to be in for a treat.

How has the weather been for everyone? I hope the weather is good for my friends Andy and Jennifer.

What is social security disability?

social security disability is a program that was started in 1954 to help americans when they become disabled and can’t work anymore. If you can’t work anymore because of a disability or if you have a condition that is preventing you from working then Social security disability will help with your income. If you hit retirement age when you are on SSDI Then you move to social security for your monthly income.

Here are some Eligibility requirements for SSDI:

If you can’t perform your work that you did before your injury or condition.
If you can’t perform another job because of your medical condition, or injury.
Your disbility has lasted more than a year.
You also must have paid into the system for five of the last 10 years.

I think these programs are essential. If someone is disabled from an injury and and can’t work anymore then these programs will help them to stay off of welfare or PA. People will say there is a job out there for any body and why do I have to pay for them through my taxes. They don’t get these types of services then we would be seeing a lot more homeless people and people dying a lot more.

How I Got Ready For The Wedding

Everyone is probably sick of reading about the wedding. How did I get ready for the wedding. I got my hair cut and I also had the hair person do a quick trim on my goatee. I also got my tux and then stashed it over at the grooms house because we were going to get dressed there.

The day of the wedding we got done with golf and then headed back to his house so we all could change. It didn’ take long for everyone to take a shower and get their tuxes on. When we started to leave one of the groomsmen ordered a pizza for pick up at pappa johns so we had to stop there to pick it up. We each had a slice of pizza but we were really careful not to get anything on us. This is how we got ready for the wedding. How did you get ready for your wedding?

These are golfing pictures from earlier in the day and also wedding pictures. It was a very beautiful wedding. The groom and bride looked awesome, and the reception was really great also.

For a gift I got them a gift card to walmart and a card. I didn’t want to get them a gift basket because gift baskets online or gift baskets at a store are expensive. I didn’t get anything on their registry because they already have most of it. This way they can go to walmart and buy the last minute things they need for their honeymoon.

Watch What You put on Social Networks

So I was at work today and I get a call on my work phone. It was a company that wanted to talk about their equipment and asked if I was the security administrator at my work. I told them no I was and I gave them my job title.

I asked the guy how he got my name and he said he found it on Linkedin. Then I said I think it is time to stop talking. He then asks about another guy on the IT department and then I hung up with him. It is just really bad about these companies cold calling. I am not going buy something from you if You are doing this.

After the conversation I changed my profile security settings on Linkedin. Just watch what you say and what you put on your profiles. Have you had this done at work before?
