Cables To Go Usb To Parallel Adaptor
When I was installing new computers at work the other week the computers don’t have a parallel port for the old printers. The computers just have USB ports. The two printers that I need to hook up where a HP 6P and HP 2100. They don’t have a USB port on the printer.
I ended having to go with a Cables to Go USB To Parrallel Adaptor. This adaptor worked out wonderfully. I didn’t need any drivers so it installed with out any problems. I would definiatly buy the adaptor if you need to hook a old printer up to a computer that doesn’t have a parallel port.
Christmas Party Lunch at Work
Here is a picture of the lunch that we had for our Christmas party at work. It was dinosaur BBQ. It was very delicious.
At the Christmas party we played games, and prizes. It was really fun this year. The people that planned it did a great job.
Buying a House
I just wanted to give a little update on what is going on with my life. I am in the process of buying a house in Syracuse, NY. It is a 4 Bedroom, 2 Bath house. It is not a bad house for what I am getting it for either. I also like that it is an older home with nice hardwoods through out. The house was built in the 1925 so it has the old charm to it.
It has a one car garage, and fenced in yard. Here are couple of pictures.
I thought it was going to be an easy process that you see on tv. I was really wrong on that one. There are a lot of different appointments that you need to setup and there are fees that you need to pay. Don’t get me wrong this is very worth it. The interest rates right now in the United States are very low, and it is a good time to buy a house. I have gotten couple of quotes on Home Insurance and then I am half way down with buying a house.
Right now I live in a 2 bedroom apartment paying 670 a month which is almost a mortgage payment. I have found a really good real estate agent, good lawyer, and a wonderful mortgage consult at my bank.

When a heat sink gets dirty
You don’t want the inside of your computer to get dirty. You can damage your computer if you don’t clean it out.
You can see the inside from the air holes if it is dirty. Your computer is going to tell you when the computer is dirty. It will give you a thermal event but when it shuts down from a thermal event don’t turn it back on but clean it out.
You can use can of air, shop vacuum, there are also vacuums for cleaning out computers like the Metro Vacuum MDV-1BA DataVac Pro.
