We Got A New Pet At My House

Here is a short video of our new pet that we got on Friday at the Great New York State Fair. He / she is small animal but it is nice little pet to see swimming around a bowl when you are doing the dishes and cooking. I went to petco the next afternoon and bought a bowl, gravel and food for it.

My girlfriend named the fish Jackson. she won it at one of the games where you toss the ball in the bowl. We each paid the attendant a $1.00 for 8 balls and she got it in the bowl to win the fish. I think you need some good luck with these games.

Earthquake Hits New York, Virginia, and DC

A 5.8 earthquake centered somewhere in Virginia rippled through Central New York Tuesday afternoon.

If you lived in Virginia, D.C, and New York you would have felt it. I was sitting down in my office chair and felt it. It lasted longer then the last time which happened in Canada.

Got Some New Appliances This Weekend

Well I got some new appliances this weekend for the house. I got a new dryer and a dehumidifier for the basement. We then hooked everything up for the washer that I got from my parents house. It use to be my grandmothers when she was alive.

I just used it for the first time this weekend. Here is the video of the basement of the house.

Youtube Monetization Confirmed

After a long time of waiting my Youtube account is now able to earn revenue from my videos. I got an email and they accepted me. I think that is very cool. I just need to create more videos.

With this when you look at your videos in your account you will see a button called Monetize.

Click on the button it brings you to another screen. You want to check the box to monetize with ads or then fill in the text box.

After you hit save chaanges you will now see a link instead of a button that says Monetize

Google Android Market Redesign

I finally got the new Andoid Market which they redesigned the whole market User interface. It looks pretty snazy and it loads very fast. I like how the categories are on the left color coded and they are much easier to see because they are bigger. The categories are Apps, Games, Books, and Movies. When you traverse down the category you can scroll left or right to go to the 2nd level categories.

Here is a picture of going to the 2nd level categories in the new Google Android Market.

I think it looks good and it is very functional. What do you think about the new design?

Find Your System Up Time

Systeminfo is a command line command that shows you all the information about your computer. This is a great command to store away for a later use because if I tell a user to reboot the computer sometimes they don’t know what that means. They will say they did but they really just turned off the monitor or logged off of the computer. This way I will see the following information then with this information say OK you did or this is how you reboot your computer.

With another utility called Desktop Central Free Windows Tools you can use the remote command prompt and see when the last uptime was without calling up the user and checking the network card uptime.
