Comments that are rewritten from your posts
Yesterday I got a comment that was all rewritten from my post. I read somewhere that a blog owner was also getting this from their comments. That is why you need to really read the comments that come through your blog. You should be moderating your comments.
The comments came from my Blog Income Report for December 2009. If you can’t read the picture then here is what the comment said.
December was a great month and it seemed like it went by quick. I think December was the best month in traffic. The last few weeks I have been good amount of traffic for my Droid posts which is always good. Money wise it was good, but not like last month because of the ClickBank sale I got. I haven’t had one since which sucks. I need to work on it harder.
The spammer was My Fashion Jewelry. The spammers are really getting creative to make their comments look real. Have anymore people seen this?

no but I put in the spam folder. Greg Ellison
They are so frustrating! I delete keyword comments. I have the KeywordLuv plugin installed, so if they can not atleast add their name, I do not approve.

Hey it seem like to my blog comment. I also get load of comment like this. The spammer just copy content from other site and directly paste on my blog comment. They are also so smart that their comment not look like spam.

I get those blatant spam comments and the not so blatant and harder to spot spam comments. Lately I’ve been getting decent looking comments that say a lot without saying very much, you’ve probably seen them:
‘I really like the message you’ve shared in your article. I have learned and been inspired and will be back for sure. You got me thinking and it has been a while since that has happened.’
On the surface the message seems okay but any message like this that doesn’t make reference to the post sets alarm bells of in my head. when I get a comment like this I copy and paste it into Google and usually find the comment being used all over the place that people have approved, probably flattered by such a ‘great’ comment.
Annoying to say the least.

Karl

I get those kind of messages also. They are annoying. Thanks Greg Ellison
ooo you just don’t know . the spammer are getting better and smarter…. in this day… sometimes askimet is ” useless ” to prevent your blog from spam
Spammers are everywhere and they’re doing their best to spam so we’ll have to be watchful. If possible check every comments posted on your site. Some are not easy to detect if the comments posted are spam or not.
