I am using TweetMeme, but I am not sure how effective it is. Most of my retweets come from my friends on Twitter. I’d say it can’t hurt by having it prominently displayed on your posts.

I have noticed that I am getting more backlinks with it though because they list the retweets on their site.

But I also just removed that one and manually added some bigger buttons for the most important sites: digg, stumbleupon, twitter and facebook.
