Too Many Plugins Syndrome
I think we get into this mindset that more is better and that goes along with our plugins also. Is having more better? I don’t think so. If you keep on installing plugins on your blog you are going to make your blog slow down other plugins will not work. I watched a video by Matt Cutts where he only had like 4 plugins on his blog. That is being really minimalist. Here is a picture of my plugins that I have on this blog.

I do have a lot and I think I need to delete couple because I don’t use them on this blog anymore. So how many plugins do you use on your blog? Do you have the too many plugins syndrome?

That is a lot of plugins, and that’s a serious problem: old plugins that are not maintained are usually hacked into and used to hack into your blog.
I use 9 plug-ins right now, and believe me, I’m looking for a way to cut one or two of them and not decrease functionality.

I went plugin crazy when I first started my blog. I have since gone to the minimalist approach, as all the plugins really slowed my blog down.
It happened to me that I tried many plugins, install them then uninstall them until i found a good one and suits for me, great post btw.
