New York State Fair and Vacation

So Yes I am on vacation from work for couple of days. I am off Thursday, Friday and Monday. I will be going to the opening day of the New York State and 3 other times. I think it will be a good time. I will be going with my family two times and then probably with friends.

Alarm Clocks and Rants

Alarm Clocks suck very bad sometimes. You are sleeping where you don’t want to be woken up by anything and then all of sudden the stupid alarm goes off. That is what happened to me.

I am just tired and this is a rant about my phones alarm clock. What I could do is do a different ringtone for it then the same buzzer sound.

If I had my computer by my bed I could go with a online alarm clock. I could also sleep in a little bit more instead of getting up when I did. I would then be worried of not getting out of the door on time.

I can’t wait for the couple of days that I am off next week. I took Thursday and Friday and then again the next week for the same days because of labor day. On Thursday the NY State Fair starts which should a fun time walking around and checking out what is there this year.

Earthquake started in Ottawa,but shakes Central New York

We had a mini quake in central new York. It started near Ottawa and it was a 5.5 magnitude earth quake. You could feel the tremors pretty far reports are saying.

I am up in a 10 story building and felt it,but I could only felt It in my office chair. People on the northeast Canada / United States what were you doing when you felt it?

Bought A New Guitar: Epiphone Special SG Model

The old guitar was not working right. I couldn’t get the guitar in tune and I was breaking strings left and right so I went to the local guitar shop and bought the one in the picture. I only spent $200 which is fine with me. I haven’t bought anything huge for myself in a long time. The guitar is an Epiphone SG Special Model.

It sounds really nice with the cheapo 15 watt guitar amp that I have. I just need to keep learning and practice with it. I also pulled out my guitar binder that I have all my books and paper when I was younger.

I got An Award At Work

I got an award yesterday at work when we had our Monday meeting. The project was for a new system for the emergency department. I was involved with the computers, scanners, software on the computer, installing signature pads. It was very involved and took a lot of work.

It is very cool for people to recognize your work. At work there is still couple of other major projects. At the meeting people got awards for two different systems. There was one for the emergency department system and upgrade to the financial system. Also don’t mind my messy desk hopefully I will have some time to clean it. I also want to reinstall my computer.

Learn to Play The Guitar

I think I am going to learn to play the guitar. I went onto Guitar center and bought a new guitar tuner and new strings. I have had this guitar for long time and it has been in my closet. I am getting board on the internet and what better thing to keep my mind active.

This guitar is no name guitar that my parents bought for me for Christmas one year. It is a strat copy with a 15 watt Amp. The new strings and the tuner only cost me $25 all together. I clean the guitar up because it is very dusty and put new strings on it.

How do you keep you from getting bored on the internet?

I think I need a New TV

My TV still works but it is old. It really isn’t my TV it is my sisters. She got the tv when my grandmother died. I would like to watch some TV shows in HD. I don’t know if I want to use tv mounts to put it on the wall or just use a tv stand. I live in an apartment so I don’t think they will allow me to put it on the wall. When I buy a house I will probably put it on the wall because it saves so much room in the living room. I have some friends that have their 40″ big screen tv on the wall and it is awesome.

I spend most of my time watching tv in my bedroom because the tv remote will shutdown the cable box and the tv with out even touching the power button. I programmed the remote over and over again but it still does the same thing. I am just too lazy to go over to Time Warner and have them give me a new one.

I still need to look at my finances and see if I can afford a new tv. If not I will wait when I get my taxes back next year because I deserve to get something for myself.

How I Got Ready For The Wedding

Everyone is probably sick of reading about the wedding. How did I get ready for the wedding. I got my hair cut and I also had the hair person do a quick trim on my goatee. I also got my tux and then stashed it over at the grooms house because we were going to get dressed there.

The day of the wedding we got done with golf and then headed back to his house so we all could change. It didn’ take long for everyone to take a shower and get their tuxes on. When we started to leave one of the groomsmen ordered a pizza for pick up at pappa johns so we had to stop there to pick it up. We each had a slice of pizza but we were really careful not to get anything on us. This is how we got ready for the wedding. How did you get ready for your wedding?
