Photo Day: Niagara Falls, NY

For a family trip we went to see the falls at Niagara Falls, NY on Sunday. It was a nice 3 hour trip. The weather was really nice and we all were sun burned. If you want to see the whole album then Click Here for the Album.

We also went to this snow park in Niagara Falls. They had snow tubing, snow boarding, mini golf, and ice skating rink but the rink wasn’t open because they were converting to roller rink.

Photo Day: Hike near Fayetteville, New York

My friend and I went for a hike this morning. Here is a photo of the trip. There was some really nice views. It was really nice out and there was also a nice breeze blowing. I also took my parents on the hike with us. She was really good. I think the total trip was around 4 or 5 miles.

The first walk up the hill got your blood pumping but then it was flat and not that hilly. It was really good hike.

Picture Day: Wooden Lizard

My friends got me a gift when they were on their honeymoon. It is pretty cool. I need to find a way to hang it up on the wall some place. It will get down I won’t be lazy and not do it I promise. I am thinking of getting some string and hang it from the tail and one of the front legs so it will be straight.

This is the Mini X 10 from Seneca Data. This computer is really small. You can see the computer already monted onto a back of a 23 inch monitor. The computer has a HDMI port, 4 usb ports, 1 network port, audio in, and out out. If you want to see the specs on the computer then Click Here. This would work really nicely on the clinical floors to save space. What does everyone think about this computer?

Photo of the Day: 24 inch monitor on a mobilecart

This is very impressive. It is a 24 inch monitor an AOC on a rubbermaid mobilecart. The computer is going to be the Seneca Data mini x4 that I talked about couple of days ago. The computers for this project are going to be on the wireless network instead of hard wired in. This project has a lot of computers to it. Some of the computers are mini and some are going to be MicroATX computer. I was going to take a picture how one of the guys does a mass prep of the computers but he got done before I could take a picture of it. Awesome Elephant Picture

Here is a picture of three elephants that I thought were really awesome. I can go to the zoo and just watch the elephants all day long. The Two adult elephants came from the Syracuse, NY Zoo.

What a burnt Power Supply looks like

The ticket came in that the user heard a pop and a burnt smell coming from the computer. This wasn’t my ticket but it one of the guys in my department.

Inside of the power supply you could see the transistor that blew, and also on the computer case you could see where it burned. You don’t see a lot of them. The computer was dusty so it is probably the likely cause of it burning the power supply. The tech put in a new power supply and cleaned out the computer and it is working fine. The motherboard and other components are working fine so I am glade of that.
