At work we have the Apple Ipad 2 that we use when we work on tickets. We have the clam case and we also have a stylus for it. Work bought us the
Targus Stylus for Apple iPad .

I think for the price for them it really works out nicely. It is the size of a pen with a rubber tip on the bottom of it. It is very easy to click on things on the Ipad when using the stylus. What I like using the clam case and the stylus it keeps the screen smudge free which works out for now but we should be getting screen protectors for these Ipads.

Go to the Home screen.

Touch and hold on one of the icon that you would like to put it into the folder. Wait until you see it jiggles.

Now drag that jiggling icon onto another icon and a new folder is automatically created which includes the two icons. To change the default folder name, simply tap on the name field.

At work they bought us IPAD 2 and a clamcase to use when we are away from our desks. Using the bluetooth keyboard makes the IPAD into a netbook basicly. We will use the IPAD to remote back into our computers at the desk when we are out in the field. It saves us time when we have to update our forms on the computers. We can update the information and close the ticket at the customers area and then go on to the next ticket. It will save alot of time.

The IPAD and the clamcase batterylasts pretty long. I had an issue where the IPAD was saying no charging when I plugged it into my computer. To fix this issue I had to download a program called ASUS AI Charger. Which worked and now it charges like it should.

Action patchjre, location: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Java\Update\Base Images\jre1.6.0.b105\patch-jre1.6.0_07.b06\patchjre.exe, command: -s “C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_07\”

For Java to install correctly I had to to go into C:\Program Files\Common Files\Java\ and rename the folder and let the installation recreate it. It installed fine but it still wouldn’t work so I uninstalled and then reinstalled which worked. I was able to view and use Java.

I finally got the new Andoid Market which they redesigned the whole market User interface. It looks pretty snazy and it loads very fast. I like how the categories are on the left color coded and they are much easier to see because they are bigger. The categories are Apps, Games, Books, and Movies. When you traverse down the category you can scroll left or right to go to the 2nd level categories.

Here is a picture of going to the 2nd level categories in the new Google Android Market.

I think it looks good and it is very functional. What do you think about the new design?

The LCD went out on this IBM Lenovo T61 laptop. The warranty on the laptop went out in May of this year. It kind of sucked. I took it apart to make sure all of the cables were plugged and not loose. So I sent my manager and supervisor communication on the ISR to see what they want to do about it. You can get another LCD, extend the warranty or just another laptop for the floor.

The Internet Explorer shortcut that is giving you the message that internet explorer is currently running without add-ons you want to do the following to the shortcut.

You want to right click on the icon then go to properties then in the target you’ll see C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer -exoff.

Just remove the -exoff and then click apply. You then want to restart Internet explorer and everything should be back to normal.

I would also rename the shortcut back to Internet Explorer.
