African Lion Safari – 3rd Generation American born elephant

What a wonderful news out of African Lion Safari. They had a baby elephant born on July 15, 2008 named Chuck after the director of Syracuse Zoo. He weighed 235lbs and stood 34″ tall at birth.

Chuck’s mother is Mali and father is Rex. Mali’s mother is Targa and Indy and the great grand parents is Vance and Birka. Here are some pictures of the little guy. The pictures come from bucklesw.blogspot.com.
