Is Google Adsense the welfare of the internet?

googleadsense_banner

I have been hearing that Google Adsense is the welfare of the internet. Most high profile bloggers think that Google Adsense is welfare money. If you look closely most of these high profile bloggers use adsense in one way or another. I know John Chow uses Google Feeds with Google Ads in his RSS feed. If you look at Darren Rowse of Problogger he uses Google Feeds with ads. All of these high bloggers still use Google. The only person that is sticking to his guns are shoemoney. I looked at his RSS feed and he doesn’t use Google Ads. What does everyone think? I think Google Adsense is the perfect way for people to get started into doing ads and making money online. You just need to bring a lot of traffic to your site.

    Hi Greg,

Gee Google Adsense may be welfare for the big earners (even though as you point out many continue to include it on their sites)but we schmucks really have to work hard for those pennies … and it takes forever for the payout!!! More like slave labor!
