Syracuse’s WTVH Channel 5 cuts 40 jobs and outsource

I can’t believe what Syracuse WTVH channel 5 did yesterday. They cut 40 people and then started to rebroadcast everything from a competing channel yesterday. If you are going to lay off 40 people and then rebroadcast everything you should just go under and we don’t need you. Yes you were the first news station in Onondaga County. Why outsource the news? Do you think people are going to watch your news station but we can flip the channel up one and get the same thing? You were loosing money because your management team sucks doesn’t mean you have to team up and regurgitate the same things on two different channels.

They are now nothing but a REBROADCASTER of CBS.
They are not serving the people all they care about is money. FCC take away there licence.

I think you mean rebroadcaster of Channel 3 which is NBC. They are not doing anything for the public I agrea 100% with that statement. Thanks Greg Ellison
