Thanksgiving was great

My Thanksgiving was great. I went over to my uncles to eat. We had all of the Ellison’s their. We are going to have another Thanksgiving with just my mom, dad, sister, and her two kids which will great also. I will be all turkey out by the end of the month. How was everyone’s Thanksgiving? Did everyone have a big Thanksgiving or a low key one?

My mom always cooks the traditional roasted turkey, our favorite apple pie, and creamy macaroni. But lately, her arthritis had worsened so we decided to just let her bake the apple pie. Then I and my sister roasted the turkey (with the help from our respective husbands). The baked macaroni became lasagna this Thanksgiving of 2008, as requested by the kids (who suddenly turned into teenagers:) Thankfully, their grand mama liked our roasted turkey. (She said this after she learned that her sons-in-law were also involved so we thought she’s just being kind;) Thank you for letting me share our family’s simple Thanksgiving celebration.
