But lately, her arthritis had worsened so we decided to just let her bake the apple pie. Then I and my sister roasted the turkey (with the help from our respective husbands). The baked macaroni became lasagna this Thanksgiving of 2008, as requested by the kids (who suddenly turned into teenagers:) Thankfully, their grand mama liked our roasted turkey.
