Tips for Christmas shopping

You don’t want to be like me and be a procrastinator and do your Christmas shopping at the last minute. I just shop for my immediate family and my one best friend. I get to the store and ponder what to get everyone. It sucks and it takes up a lot of time. Here are my thoughts on bunch of tips for Crhistmas shopping.

Write a list down

You should write down what you want to get everyone. So you should be doing this ahead of time. This is going to save you a lot of time and you are not going to all the stores in the mall looking for things. The malls are going to be packed at Christmas time. You should also try to combine gifts for people. This will lower how many gifts you have to buy for people.

Get to the mall early or later in the day

You want to get to the mall when there is not going to be a lot of people. This is going to be earlier in the day or later in the day. You want to get their earlier in because people are getting out of bed and getting ready for the shopping day. When you go later in the day people are already getting done and people just want to go home. There will be less people between those two times.

You should know where you are going to park at the mall or stores

There are going to be tone of people at the mall or stores that you are going to be shopping at. Do you want to walk, catch a bus, or park in the garage? You should know before hand where you are going to park. I was watching the news yesterday and people were waiting an hour to catch the shuttle to get to the mall. I think this is just stupid to wait an hour to get the bus to go to the mall.

Don’t eat at the food places at the mall or at the stores

There are going to be huge lines here. You should already have eaten before hand. You should also bring bottle water or a drink with you. The food courts are not the places where you want to wait in lines all day to get your food or drink.

Buy Online

If you can buy online I would really suggest this to everyone. You get what you want and then have the gift shipped to your door. What better way to shop for Christmas. I didn’t do it this year for Christmas but probably I will do it for next Christmas.
