Comments on: How do you read blogs that are on the internet?

Well I’m the oddball but as my list of blogs to read is growing I am about to change my ways. For the past year+, I have subscribed to blogs by email. I’d just read the ones I want every morning and delete the rest. But that was less than 10 blogs. Now I am subscribed by email to a bunch but am also starting to subscribe by RSS and will stick with that from now on. Some are in Google and a couple of scientific ones are in Outhouse so I can even see them at a glance when I start my work morning.

I also prefer to use RSS feed reader. I use the default reader in Flock Browser and I am pretty happy with it.

I will bookmark those fav blogs in my browser and will see them frequently. Still now I am not using any RSS readers

I use Google Reader I subscribe to many sites I have must read and a group I target for comments and what I consider peer bloggers. I dislike e-mail period. I do sign up from lots of list to study how people use then and take advantage of free offers.

I use Google reader. I subscribe to comments via the RSS but I much prefer to keep track of comments that I leave on interesting posts. I use blacktype for this but I prefer to use the ‘subscribe to comments’ facility. A lot of blogs don’t have this, lucky for me yours does.

I tend to receive updates from Blogs I am interested in and take a look when I have time. There is so much content out there that it is very hard to keep up.

I stopped using the FeedBurner e-mail subscribe method because it was stressing me out receiving so many e-mail updates all the time Now I just subscribe to all the blogs using RSS and I have CommentLuv enabled blogs as “higher priority” – I don’t think I need to explain why I like CommentLuv

But I’m also a huge fan of the “Read It Later” firefox plugin and iPhone App, which allows me to read articles while being offline – or sync them to my iPhone and read them there, I did a review about it: http://techpatio.com/2009/apple/iphone/read-it-later-useful-firefox-addon-iphone-app

I sign up to blogs via RSS feed. I also signup via email to get free ebooks.

As for how many blogs I am subscirbed to. My RSS feed reader as over 300 or 400 blogs in it. Whenever I feel behind in blog commenting. The feed reader has over 2,000 blog posts. Which takes a lot of time to look trough which ones I am going to comment on and which ones I have nothing to say.
