How to make a web site that you are happy with

Make a web site that you are happy with is very hard. I came up with a new web site last night, and I found a promo code for Godaddy. The promo code gave me $3 something off of my domain. The domain name was $7.69 at the end of checkout. That is not a bad price. It is a .com and it is a two word domain. I stayed up late to work on the web site and trying to figure the design and I got up early to work on it some more. The end result hopefully will be that I am happy with everything.

I did my keywords that I want to use on the web site. I also have my mom making the e-book for me. She knows the subject matter better then I do and she is good at writing. I told her I would give her $20 for it. The one thing that I thought I had an excellent keyword because there was less then 10,000 web sites in Google and the monthly search was 1,000+, but the next day it jumped up to 29,000 for web sites in Google. I don’t know why that happened. Does anyone know why that happened?

I am going to sell my e-book for $5.00 and do couple of article marketing for it to bring in the traffic. I will list out my table of contents for the visitor and then present the visitor with an Aweber User name input box and an email input box. This will go to my Paypal page so they will buy it. I think the e-book will be OK for $5, and it will be jammed pack with great info about the niche.

Am I on the right track with this web site? How are your new web sites going? If they are complete can you share them with the visitors? When I am done with my new site I will share it with you guys.

I made a site for funny pictures and posters called www.yourfunnypic.info and it is now getting around 400 to 600 visitors a month. That is not bad but it can be more. This one of the web sites that people like to click on ads. It takes time for new sites to get listed and for search engine traffic to come to your web site. I didn’t do much of promotion for this web site but hopefully with the new site it will be better and with more traffic. Hopefully search engine people will like to buy e-books.

This post is actually about being excited about what you are doing and have a passion that you can’t put it down. That’s what happened to me last night, but I had work in the morning so I had to go to bed. If I worked at home I probably would have continued to work on this new site for much longer.

People must be happy and excited otherwise being online becomes a drag and they eventually get lost some where. I like my theme, but am always trying to better it and make it unique.

When are you gonna spill the beans on what the site is about? It sounds a lot like some niche marketing, that “10,000 competitors / 1,000 monthly search” sounds familiar, hehe.

Regarding the hits where the less than 10k went to 29k, I don’t know why – but I’ve seen it happen too, even in a matter of minutes. I can search for something and it gives me one result, wait a few minutes, click the search button again (for same search term) and the result is completely different.

Maybe it has something to do with what datacenter you’re connecting to. But it’s disturbing because it means you never know how many results there actually is, specially if you do niche marketing where it’s important to know how many competitors you have.

Regarding your pictures blog, why don’t you try sites Stumbleupon. I have seen people in StumbleUpon like blogs with pictures. It will surely increase visitors to your blog
