Michael Jackson Death almost cripples the internet

It looks like all of the people that are searching for Michael Jackson took down some major websites on Friday. Twitter had to shutdown part of their website because people were searching for Michael Jackson related entries. TMZ that broke the story had bunch of outages. CNN website spiked with over 20 million visitors on Michael Jackson’s death. The Los Angeles Times suffered outages also. I think this event really helps to show how social media websites are playing a role in the life of people in this world. People want there news at their finger tips.

With these big events you are going to have a lot of rumors floating around. We need to be able to distinguish the rumors with the real truths.
