Myspace Laying Off Employees

I was watching TV today and I saw that Myspace is laying off a lot of their employees. I think the figure was around 30% of their workforce. I don’t think that is ever a good sign. In the news report it said that they want to be more competitive with facebook because they have less employees then Facebook and Facebook is gaining more ground then Myspace. Does anyone think they are going bye bye soon? I don’t really get onto Myspace that much anymore. I am on facebook a lot to see what my friends are doing but that is about it. So the question what do you think about Myspace laying off people?

    Excellent blog. It was certainly an interesting read. I am not really that big into reading & commenting blogs, but every once in awhile I stumble onto one that entices me to comment as yours did. I dont think MySpace is going anywhere. It grew quickly, and has come to a point that downsizing is necessary. When company downsizing takes place, stocks increase. Many investors probably made millions.
