The Design Of Your New Site

How would you come up with a design for your new site? Will you hire a web designer or will you go the free route a customize the hell out of it. You can also go with CMS (Content Management System) or just Pure HTML website. I think I am going to go the free website with a pure html site for me. I found a nice CSS designed one page template that I am going to be using I think.

I have worked with WordPress as a pure webpage before and it worked good but I haven’t done a pure html site that isn’t a dynamic website. This is pretty cool to see what happens to this website when I am done.

I went to Google and saw this website 100 Free High-Quality XHTML/CSS Templates. People say the Title is everything and this caught my attention when I saw it on Google.

If you are planning to go for a free wordpress theme then I suggest you better go for atahualpa theme which is the most famous theme. It is highly customizable with more than 200 settings available. I have recently started using it.

Since you know how to do it, I think that’s great! I got my first domain from Google but didn’t know how to create a decent looking site in Google Sites, so I ended up getting WordPress and hosting.

I’ve actually found a theme that is so easy to configure I run 8 of my 9 blogs on it, each one having a uniqueness about it. The other blog runs on Thesis, which I purchased first but just wasn’t happy with it.

Erm I’ll probably hire a favorite designer to design my blog if my financial condition allows :) . But now I think Thesis is just enough for me, it makes my blog neat and unique. I’ll write up a review soon. =)
