Users baffled as Zune MP3 players freeze up – dubbed crisis as Y2K9 or Z2K9

It seems like people that have Zune MP3 players are freezing up on them. Some people can’t reboot the device. Some people would reboot their device but would just freeze again. On Microsoft’s website they have posted the following “Customers with 30gb Zune devices may experience issues when booting their Zune hardware. We’re aware of the problem and are working to correct it. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for your patience!”. They need to hurry up and come up with a plane to fix it fast. Some people have dubbed the crisis “Y2K9″ or “Z2K9″ If you have a Zune MP3 player you should be going to www.zune.net/support to keep up todate on their progress of finding a fix for it. It also just seems like it is affecting just 1st generation 30 GB Zune MP3 players. Some wild stuff there.
