Blog Income Report for October 2009
It is a new month now so it is time for a income report for October 2009. I can’t believe it is November. It is going to be winter pretty soon. Let’s get back to the income report. It has been a very good month overall. I did make money and the visitors are up from last month so that is good. We did have one extra day that we didn’t have last month.
I created about 7 hubpages and it has been a real learning experience with that. I did Article Marketing for almost all of them. Here are the website addresses for the hubpages.

Please give me feedback on what you like and don’t like. HubPages are easy to create but it is the promoting and marketing that is the hard part. I have also added click bank products in couple of them. I haven’t gotten any orders on the clickbank products but I might be doing something wrong. Again please give me feedback on the hubpages.
I have a total of 106 people on my list and total of 595 on 4 lists. Like I said last month I need to write more to the subscribers. For this email list on this blog all I send out are blog broadcast and couple of followup emails for people to connect with me and welcoming them to my email list. It is hard to come up with stuff for your email list.

Sponsored Tweets – $5.09
Grand Total – $56.09

Great income!
i think you can increase your adsense earning by try different ads type for your site.
My suggestion is to use large rectangle type of ads.
It works well for me

That is a good income. You are improving. You made more this month compared to last month.
For your hubpages, you need to write more content on some of them. Also, try writing what people want to buy and not want people want to gain more information.

More over it was sad for me because my monthly income report is lower than last month…
That is a good start, but keep an eye on what keywords you are targeting. Are they high income kewyords?

Looks good Greg! Having your income improve since last month is the name of the game.
I can imagine it is hard to come up with material for a newsletter, since you write posts for your blog. I’m not doing a newsletter yet but am paying attention and trying to learn.

You obviously have everything set up correctly with all your tacking and especially using Analytics for your income report as well. Generating blog income can be a real trial at the beginning but if you stick with it your income will grow exponentially in the next 6 months
Thank you for posting the honest numbers, it is encouraging to see I am not the only one not making thousands a month. Also, it is blogs likes yours that I enjoy reading because your success and what you learn is real. It has application to me, the small and growing guy. Keep it up!

Hmmm, not to bad Greg, earnings are better then nothing. Anyway I also need to start doing hubmpages and squidoo it really is a good way for back links and exposure.
Are you getting organic traffic as well? Or only referring traffic?

The traffic is coming from search engine, articles that I have created. I am just experimenting with the hub pages to see what I can do with them. Greg Ellison

Good Stuff. As long as the income keeps going up, you’re moving in the right direction.
Your visitor numbers are certainly impressive … I’m having a H…. of a time getting them to move upwards! (although the trending seems to be going in the right direction).
Hub Pages … I did that for one of my sites last month. Basically what I was using it for is credibility/authority. I’ll have to revisit the whole Hub Pages thing, and Squidoo as well.
Sponsored Tweets is interesting. John Chow (of course! … lol…) had a good article on that and how he made some impressive coin for what amounted to about 20 minutes of his time. With your increasing traffic I see that as an area that will continue to grow for you.
Another interesting source of income is payU2blog … perhaps more of us should be looking at similar options as a way to first make some money, and two, build up authority.
