Blog Income Report for September 2009
It is already October 2nd, this year is just flying by. Well What I can say about September. I think I have slipped on the commenting on other blogs. I didn’t break my record for the visitors this month. It decreased this month. I did good on the money side of things.
I need to comment more on other blogs for the month of October. For September I failed at making more followup emails in my Aweber email list and I need to work on that. I am around 93 signups so that is pretty good. I just hit over 500 signups in Aweber but that is for 4 different lists.
Here is the money part of the income report.
Google Adsense – $15.56
Payu2blog – $35.00
Chikita – $.80
Kontera – $.23
Aweber Affiliate – $.30
Grand Total – $51.89

Here are the pictures of the visitors and page views. This comes from Google Analytics.

Good numbers Greg. It is hard to keep up with commenting on a consistent basis, especially as you get busier with other things… but it definitely helps keep traffic up.

Congrats on the AdSense, are you just testing Kontera, any reason to keep it if earning so low? I decided to dump mine after it earned about 2% of what AdSense earns, felt an in-Post adsense was enough. The extra Kontera links had my readers complaining.

Except I know that you’re not a scammer, so for me it doesn’t matter if you write it or not.
It seems PayU2Blog is pretty good for you, maybe I should check it out – I think they rejected my blog earlier cause it was not old enough back then (or maybe that was another program).
Care to share what other lists you have, I see you have 4 lists in Aweber?

I reckon I must have pissed PayU2Blog off because I can’t seem to log in anymore. No great loss though as I was getting tired of the repetitive posts. I much prefer to pick and choose which tasks I take.

I use Kontera on other websites so I don’t use it on this blog.
Payu2blog is a good paid posting company. When they give you assignment you have to take it and write a post about, and the money is not always the same from month to month. Over all it is a good company and they have paid me every time. Some times the paid post is a weird keyword.
I have a alumni directory for my high school, my blog, a dog website and my dads website that uses aweber. I need to figure out how to make money with my lists but I haven’t made anything from them.

I almost got kicked out of payu2blog network before but they put me back in. It is very easy to do, and that is probably why I am still using them, but sometimes it seems like the keywords are repetitive.
I didn’t really like payperpost or sponsored reviews because I was never able to get a paid post from them. I have tried smorty and blogvertise. I have had couple posts from blogvertise but not enough, and smorty it dried up.
That has been the companies that I have used for paid posts.
I don’t make hole lot of money from my online adventures but it takes baby steps and I am still learning. I make enough to pay my aweber account each month at least that is good.

I know that the total income is not that impressive but still you manage to make money from your blog. I notice that your AdSense earning is quite good, congrats on that man.

If you’re looking to increase the revenue from your blog naturally then you’re going about it the right way here. Blog commenting to gain traffic is certainly a good start-have you thought about blogging about a really specific niche and then from that promoting your keywords in the SERPS-i think you’d do quite well. One other thing which is slightly time consuming but wont affect your blog or yourself too much is to conduct a usability study on the site-see if ypu can streamline the way you earn money from it. Make this process easier which would facilitate revenue.
That’s good. You crossed $50 mark. Keep it up and you will reach $100 mark in no time.

Greg why don’t you kick out those low performing kOntera and other one, and try some alternative? It might work.. meanwhile its good to see your stats,IMO every blogger should alteast reveal his report, because this work as backbone for other bloggers , specially newbie..
