Facebook Fan Page is taking off for my alumni site

I run a website dedicated to people that have graduated from my school district. I have a fan page, alumni Facebook group, and also the Alumni website.

The Alumni website has around 1,483 people in the database
The Facebook Alumni Group has around 1,347 members
The Fan Page has grown to over 364 fans
The Aweber List has around 154 people on it

I can’t believe how the growth with the fan page has grown over the last couple of months. This is actually why I am writing this post because of the fan page. I also tied my Aweber list to the fan page and to the website. The list is growing because the explosion of people joining the fan page.

Do you have an Opt-in form on your fan page? I would strongly suggest if you have some kind of fan page then you should be putting in an Opt-in form on it. When I send out my monthly broadcast to the email list all I need them to do is click on the sponsored by link and sign up to the affiliate website.
