On Call Saturday and Sunday

Around 11 or 12 operations called me on Saturday night. One of the operations couldn’t log on to his computer. I looked in active directory and sure enough it was locked out. I couldn’t unlock his account because I didn’t have the right to. I had the operations person call one of the senior system administration people, but before he could get on the account unlocked and the person was able to log on.

On sunday one of the computers in ED went down where the doctors do all of their notes and discharges. I had to put in a new power supply and clean the dust out of the computer. I just checked the computer this morning and it is still pingable. I wont be on call again until June 23rd.

Guess the guys were right when they said you will get most of your calls during the weekend. I got 3 calls this weekend.
