Do You Really Need A Check List
So Today I saw that Darren Rowse has a new ebook out for the bloggers that need a checklist to write some content.
It is suppose to help you with the following:
1.Writing — How to write engaging compelling posts.
2.Scannability — How to ensure your posts are easy to scan read.
3.Search engine optimization (SEO) — How to write posts that Google will like.
4.Grammar — How to avoid errors that undermine your credibility.
I say you should want to write what you think is important to you and once you write articles that you like people will find your articles. You can do titles for the sections in your blog post for better scanability so people can scan the article and read what sections that they want to. You also should be downloading an SEO plugin for your blog. There are a lot of free ones out there. The one that I am using is called ALL IN ONE SEO.
If someone is going correct me on my grammer they are going into the delete box for comments. You want to look at a blog with grammer mistakes look at Shoemoney’s blog.

Alarm Clocks and Rants
Alarm Clocks suck very bad sometimes. You are sleeping where you don’t want to be woken up by anything and then all of sudden the stupid alarm goes off. That is what happened to me.
I am just tired and this is a rant about my phones alarm clock. What I could do is do a different ringtone for it then the same buzzer sound.
If I had my computer by my bed I could go with a online alarm clock. I could also sleep in a little bit more instead of getting up when I did. I would then be worried of not getting out of the door on time.
I can’t wait for the couple of days that I am off next week. I took Thursday and Friday and then again the next week for the same days because of labor day. On Thursday the NY State Fair starts which should a fun time walking around and checking out what is there this year.
Some Good News For This Blog
I was looking at the page rank for this website to my surprise it was PR 3. I don’t know when it happened but I think it is cool. It has been a PR 0 for the longest time.

Some of the servers have the PR 3 for the blog and some don’t so maybe some people won’t see the page rank. It looks like the majority is PR3.

YouTube Partner Program
I tried to join the YouTube Partner Program but I was turned down. Here is the qualifications and criteria that YouTube goes by. I didn ‘t meet them. When you do sign up with them and if you get turned down you have to wait another 2 months to try to sign up with them.
I think you need videos that get a lot of page views to be considered for the YouTube Partner Program. You need subscribers that want to subscribe to your channel. You need to give good content to your audience. It is not sure thing that you are going to get into this program.
If you are not part of the YouTube Partner Program then you need to funnel these viewers that watches your videos to your blog and mailing list. You then can send them products that you like, and they can also click on your ads on your websites / blogs.
You want to include your website address into the description box and also you might want to include the website address into the title of the video. This will allow them to click on the link so they will go to your website / blog.
After you bring up your viewer countso on your videos, and get a lot of subscribers then try to join the YouTube Partner Program or wait for them to invite you into it.

Verizon Wireless Motorola Droid Froyo 2.2 Update Today
So Today when I was getting on the shuttle bus for work the cell phone wanted me to do a system update to 2.2 which is called Froyo. They have changed a lot in the new update.
Some things that I have seen right away are the following:
Flash 10.1
New launcher
You have 5 desktops now
Your exchange calendar is now with your Google Calendar
USB Tethering
Facebook app is little different
Alarms screen is different
The security on the phone has changed. You can do pin, passcode, and patterns.
The camera Functionality has changed.

The Flip Ultra HD Camcorder
So Yesterday night I bought the Flip Ultra HD Camcorder. I bought the camcorder for $164.16 After taxes which is not bad. I looked on Best Buy, Walmart and Amazon. Amazon and Walmart were the same price and Best Buy was $4 more then the other two. I am probably going to get a cheap tripod for it also but that will be probably next month.
Why did I get this camcorder? I got it because the reviews were great. The video is excellent for a point and shoot camcorder, and it is easy to upload the video to YouTube. The screen is bigger then the Mino type and you can recorder longer then the Mino also.
This will help me do more video blogging and general video taking and it is very small enough where I can take it with me anywhere I go.

Photo Day: Nice Photo of the Family
Here is a photo with me, mom, and dad at the wedding dinner. I think this is a very good picture of us. The only person that is not in the picture is my sister and her two kids.

POOR MANS VIDEO BLOGGING SETUP
Here is the video of the poor mans video blogging setup that I have at my apartment. I should get a flip video camcorder or expensive hd one, but I would probably opt in getting a flip because it is the least amount of money and the time to upload video is not that long.

I need to do more videos on this blog because YouTube can be another money maker, and traffic source. Why not use it? Free CD Burning Application: CD Burner XP
I was reading on Technibble website today and saw a very awesome application that is free to use for the commercial and non commercial people. The application will also run under a restrictive user. The application is called CD Burner XP. You can download the application at www.cdburnerxp.se/en/download.
Select I accept the agreement then Click Next
Click Next leave the default folder
Select the language Files that you need then Click Next
You want to create a desktop icon for all users so that any user that logs into the computer will get the application. The other tasks section is optional to use and I would leave it default.
Select Do not install bing bar and then Click Install
Click Finish
Select your language and the default is English
Looking at the menu this burning application has everything that a paid burning software has. You can do your data discs, your audio, burn ISO images, copy discs, and you can erase CD-RW and DVD discs, and Blue Ray. There are two versions, the full-install version and a portable version. It also works on all of the Microsoft Window Versions 2000/XP/2003 Server/Vista/2008/Win7.
