Book Scouting Selling On Amazon
I am trying another way to make money on the Internet and that is buying books at thrift stores and flea markets then selling them on amazon.
I have bought couple books and sold one. I thought I was going to make a lot of money but come find out I lost money on the book that I sold. I learned a good lesson don’t buy books that you can’t sell at higher price.
I was using my cell phone to scan books to see how much they were on amazon. The program that I started with was amazon price checker which doesn’t give you the full picture of what the book is selling for.
I then found another Iphone App called FBAScan which gives a nicer picture of the prices the book is selling for and it will color code to tell you if it is a good buy or not.
Then you can get even more crazier with book scouting which is to buy a PDA and do your own scanning. Which is faster and you can go through more books at the flea markets and thrift stores to find the good books. The PDA would be a dell Axim with a socket scanner and a storage card. To scan the book you will need to download the amazon database to the PDA device. The service that i like is called asellertool. Which is $30 month which is cheaper then the other company doing the samething.
