How to do tethering on Motorola Droid using PDANet

1. Install PDANet on your Motorola Droid phone by going into the market place.
2. Go into the settings -> Applications – > Development -> Check USB Debugging.
3. Download application for the computer at www.junefabrics.com/android/
4. Install the exe and follow the prompts
5. Connect the phone to the laptop or desktop using the USB cable.
6. Click on Enable USB Tether in the PDANet application on the phone.
7. Go onto the computer click on the PDANet phone on the system tray and hit connect.

PDA Net should now be connected. You have a 14 day trial for the full blown version after the 14 day trial you can’t go onto any SSL sites. It worked out just fine when we went to Hershey park for vacation. I was able to connect it to our netbook and get on the internet. The speeds were not that bad, but it was better then the free wireless signal at the hotel.
