How to install your Corporate Exchange Email account on your Motorola Droid
Step 1: From the home screen, open the Applications Tray, and then touch Email.
Step 2: Enter your Email address and Password then select Next.*
Make this your default account to send email through if you don’t have Google Email installed.
Step 3: Select the type of email account. You need to select Microsoft Exchange.
Step 4: Enter Exchange Server settings
Domain\Username: domain \your network user name
Password: You’re Network Password
Exchange Server Name: exchange server address
Check the check box to use secure connection (SSL)
Click Next
Step 5: Email Checking Frequency Leave at automatic (Push), and Amount to Synchronize to 3 days. You can check send email from this account by default. You should also check notify me when email arrives, and check sync contacts from this account.
Step 6: Enter a name for your account, the name to be displayed on outgoing messages then select done. Your account is setup and your Inbox will be displayed. If prompted for type of account go to Step 3.
Step 7: Hold the email ICON down and this will allow you to post it onto your home screen and you can do this for your Corporate Calendar also. You can also make a widget out of the Corporate Calendar.

Interesting, I was considering getting the Droid but didn’t know if it would work with all of the things I needed for work. Connecting to our Exchange server is an important feature for me and now I know that it’s not only doable but also quite simple to do, so maybe I will get the Droid after all. Thanks!
