I am trying to sync my Droid X to my corporate email and it is telling me host is unknown. I contacted Verizon and they have linked me to the corporate email but it still isn't working. I have also downloaded the directions and followed them. I have not downloaded Touchdown.

I would take the phone to your IT department. When I did this it synced right away without any issues. Greg Ellison

I went through all of the steps. Once I get to the check boxes for syncing mail, contacts, and callendar, click ok. After a few seconds, it says failed to create account, please try again later.

It is almost like the Motorola Droid, but some of the screens are a little different. I had to setup email on a users Droid Eris so I came up with this procedure at work. Greg Ellison
