Motorola Droid Locking Up and Freezing

Well I am sad to say that my Motorola Droid is locking up and freezing on me. I uninstalled applications that I thought was causing it. Last couple of days my battery was gone with in couple of hours. I turned off exchange push email and put it to 5 minutes and it looked like it solved the battery issue but I still had other problems today.

When you moved to different screens it would lock up and take about 5 to 10 seconds to come back unfrozen. Today Facebook would lock up and the only thing you could do is do a force close.

So tonight I reset the phone to factory default. Facebook works now, but I can’t get my corporate email because it wants to do a force close. So tomorrow after work I am going to the verizon store to see if they can do something for me.

Everything started with this last update for the flash 10.1 and security updates. It just totaly blew my phone away it seems like. I wish I had a PS3 or xbox 360 so I can play a first person shooter game to get my frustration out.

That’s why I like the closed system of iPhone and App Store – you’re pretty much sure not to find any crap in the App Store to install that will freeze it up.

I hope you’ll figure out how to fix it again!
