New Ipad Tablet

I was watching the keynote for Apple for their new device that is going to revolutionize the world. I don’t think it is going to do that. It is a big ipod touch. It has different screens but really it is a big ipod touch. What is your take on it? Don’t get me wrong it looks like a nice device but it is a Ipod touch really.

The device looks really small and thin. It only weighs 1 1/2 pounds. It has 9.7 inch IPS display, and a full capacitive multi touch device. It has a 1 Ghz Apple A4 Chip and Jobs said it screams. It has the latest wireless and blue tooth. It has 10 hours of battery life and a month of stand by battery life. That is pretty good battery life on the device. It is a very green device.

All applications the apple store will work with the new device so you don’t have to download other specific applications. From the video the graphics is pretty sweet.

They are also going to have a big book store where you can buy books from the top publishing companies and top authors. It is very easy to flip through pages. You can change the font, and the text size of the ebook. It is cool how all of your books that you download goes on to a book shelf.

It is a mobile device. In the keynote Jobs said they are the biggest mobile device company and their revenue is in the billions of dollars.

This is really cool.. it seems like Apple is CONSTANTLY making new gadgets and technology but who can keep up? Once you buy something that is the ‘new thing’, next week they come out with something better.

I still don’t like the fact that you have to find a place to prop it up if you want to touch type with it. Whether it be your lap or on a table.

Ah well, I guess I’m just bitter there will never be an Apple netbook.

I just seen this on TV and thought that the spelling is wrong but I guess not since this is different from Ipod.

It annoys me that there is such a big price difference between the basic and the decent iPad models. Services a large market, yes – but most will go for the 64GB 3G model, and Apple know it!

The iPad is much more than an e-book or digital periodical reader, though it does those tasks brilliantly. I want get it soon.
