How to Protect Yourself on the Road

You are on the road going on vacation and you have a travel emergency. This can be a car breaking down, blown tire, medical emergency. You have to be prepared in case something happens.

In the car I would get AAA for car emergency or your Insurance might offer the same service that AAA does. They can fix flat tires and they will tow your car to the nearest garage or warranty place for your car.

If you have a medical emergency make sure you have your insurance cards, and you know the location marker that you passed. Also never run across the highway because more then anything you are going to get hit. If you get stuck on the highway itself stay in your car and don’t get out so you can wait for the police.

In the trunk you should have the following:

Road Flares
A blanket
Some nonperishable food
Radio
Flash light
Tool set
First Aid Bag
Fuses for the car
